Registered tax agent Peter May CA CTA commenced his career with PWC, working as an auditor before moving into the small business section. After qualifying as a CA, he took an audit position with Bentley Wheeler Cartledge & Co (now part of Deloitte’s) where he remained for 10 years. His next move was the formation of a partnership which saw him provide accounting and taxation services to a diverse array of small business clients. He developed a passion and expertise in superannuation, by completing the RG146 exams the prerequisite to achieve accreditation for providing advice on Self Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs).

Viona Webb-Johnson CA CTA  has a passion for accounting that dates back to secondary school. Having obtained a Bachelor of Accounting in Indonesia, she initially joined EY as an Auditor, before moving to Australia to obtain a Master of Professional Accounting from Monash University. Viona is a registered tax agent.

Since graduating from RMIT, Fei Yu CA has worked extensively with Peter both in the areas of SMSF and Taxation, with a view to helping clients maintain compliance.   Fei is the SMSF specialist of the team with strong knowledge in areas such as strategies for retirement planning, maximising contributions, transitions to retirement, and account-based pensions. 

Leigh Hamilton CA CTA is excited to join forces with MayCA after 33 years of servicing clients as a sole practitioner.  Initially graduating from Melbourne University with a Bachelor of Commerce, Leigh commenced his career at PWC gaining experience in audit, small business and tax, before being promoted to Senior Taxation Consultant.  He then worked as a Financial Controller for a successful car dealership before returning to the profession, initially as a partner in a small accounting firm, and then as a sole practitioner specialising in accounting, tax, small business and SMSF advisory.

Winny Tjahjadi CPA has been a member of the team since 2018. She has over ten years of experience in her areas of specialty, which include taxation and financial reporting for small to medium sized businesses, as well as providing relevant tax advice and business advisory services where appropriate.  In her spare time, Winny runs a hospitality business with her husband which gives her an understanding of the challenges small business owners encounter.

With a passion for numbers, Joyce Li joined the team in November 2019 having graduated with a Master of Accounting from RMIT University.  Joyce is now working towards her CPA.

Natalie joined the company in early 2024 as a Junior Accountant and is primarily focused on taxation services, as well as the preparation of financial reports and work papers for medical practices. She graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance. In 2026, Natalie commenced her CA program and is committed to continuing her professional development within the accounting industry.

Gina Duan joined the firm after completing her Master of Management at the University of Melbourne, specialising in Accounting. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and is currently undertaking the CPA Program. As a member of our SMSF team, Gina is committed to supporting clients with their self-managed superannuation needs and contributing to their long-term retirement goals.

During her Master of Accounting studies at Swinburne University of Technology (2007–2009), Ita began working as a Junior Accountant at MayCa Accounting. She continued to gain valuable experience with the firm for several years before shifting her focus to fully support the growth her husband’s growing hospitality business. Recently, she has returned to the accounting field with the aim of rebuilding and enhancing her knowledge and further developing her skills in accounting and taxation.

Born and bred in Melbourne, Debbie Guest attended business college in Townsville, North Queensland before working with several accounting firms in Queensland and Victoria. She started work with Peter more than 18 years ago, and has been expertly providing accounts, bookkeeping, tax and administration services ever since.

Lynn Rae was born in Scotland and migrated to Australia in 1972.  Her administration proficiency has made her an invaluable member of the team, as she ensures things run smoothly behind the scenes.  She also takes care of our client’s corporate affairs with the Australian Securities & Investments Commission.
